Donor & Public Engagement – Consistently provide accurate and high-quality information resources and materials (web-based, print, video, and photos) for effective donor and public engagement in a timely manner.
- Ensure solid writing and storytelling skills are strongly supported with well-composed and visually-strong digital photographs and/or video.
- National Office – Consistently provide accurate information to the internal community through user-friendly and accessible platforms and develop, maintain and promote a consistent brand identity in the production of publications and other corporate materials.
- Partnership – Work closely with Cluster-based staff to develop and produce high quality, relevant content that is clearly linked and relevant to key WVE programmes and demonstrate advanced knowledge of core ministry strategy to support WVE and WVI platforms, including Story Hub, ContentFlow, amongst other internal-facing platforms.
- Public – Develop and regularly produce high quality, relevant, and accurate content for WVE website, social media platforms, and the local media.
- Donors – Manage the planning, production and dissemination of issue-based materials (web-based, print, video and photos) for informing, educating and engaging existing/potential donors.
Campaigns – Support the coordination of Campaign activities, working closely with the Communications & Campaigns Manager.
- Support effective implementation of the ENOUGH Campaign and WVE Campaign Ambassadors’ engagements for influence.
- Work with Advocacy and programmes to increase awareness and understanding of issues of poverty and injustice, and advocate publicly on agreed issues to build World Vision’s credible voice among the public and decision-makers.
- Provide support to Area Programmes and technical areas by initiating and piloting new social media innovations to interact with all the different audiences aimed at showcasing WVE’s work.
Brand Visibility and Management
- Support the Communications & Campaigns Manager to provide brand visibility and management across WVE functions, to enhance brand loyalty and support, both internally and externally, and also ensure alignment with WVI Partnership Branding Guidelines.
- Ensure all relevant partners and donors are tagged as and when content related to their funding is posted. These may include donors (sponsors, multilateral & bilateral), private sector, CSOs, etc.
- Ensure materials adhere to WV protocols and practices for protection of children and other vulnerable groups.
Media Management Support
- Support the Communications & Campaigns Manager to deliver high impact media coverage for WVE, as well as build and maintain strong linkages with media and develop partnerships with media outlets and bloggers.
- Secure positive mentions of World Vision and prominence in media coverage regularly.
- Host and facilitate field visits by national and international media.
Digital and Social Media Management
- Management of WVE social media platforms, creating and publishing engaging content to ensure WVE reaches a wide audience.
- Feed into the content planning process, identifying and sourcing potential news & transformational stories and working across teams to plan and develop content to share across WVE platforms.
