Key Responsibilities:
- Co-facilitates and supports the development of National Office strategy including sub-strategies of frontline departments (e.g. RD, GAM) ensuring relevance and responsiveness to the changes in the landscape/market and alignment with WVI Partnership strategy and standards. This included supporting the regular strategic planning of key frontline departments to ensure execution of strategy.
- Co-manage the monitoring, evaluation/assessment and reporting system and process of the country strategy, including sub-strategies of frontline units (e.g. RD, GAM). This includes assessment of strategic initiatives, campaigns, products and channels to determine results and deliver insightful recommendations aimed at enhancing business processes and ensuring cost-effective implementation of strategy and strategic initiatives.
- Conducts regular landscape and market assessment and analysis, maximizing internal and external data/information, to inform necessary changes in the country strategy and sub-strategies (e.g. RD Strategy, GAM Business Plan).
- Develop and pitch new and innovative products/campaigns/initiatives out of good/promising practices from WVDF’s programme implementation (Spon, PNS/G, Response, Research projects) and emerging practices from the industry to support fundraising and branding goal of the organization. This also includes testing/piloting projects aimed at generating valuable leads and business opportunities for growth.
Engage in Organizational Mandated Activities
- Complete all mandated staff training/orientations
- Engage in Relief Operations and Emergency Response (as needed)
- Regularly Participate in Spiritual Nurture Activities (e.g. Monday Devotion, Corporate Prayer and Day of Prayer)
- Participate as committee member or special task/assignment as deemed necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree on Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Management or other related course.
- 3 -5 years of progressively responsible experience in performing duties related to strategy management, project management, marketing research, data gathering, analysis and reporting, product development.
- Strength in Strategy Management, Strategic Planning, Balanced Scorecard and organizational performance management/measures.
- Possesses an expertise in the development and management of new product portfolios.
- Demonstrates proficiency in concept writing and testing methodologies
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of successful launch executions and roll-outs.
- Robust business acumen and exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to discern patterns, including conducting and/or interpreting market research, consumer insights, and market trends.
- Has the ability to convey compelling narratives with actionable implications, both in writing and through verbal presentations.
- Excel in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with robust business acumen and analytical skills.
- Possesses knowledge and established relationships within both leading and emerging entities in the marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and social enterprise sectors across for-profit and non-profit spaces.
- Physically and mentally fit to travel and do field work related to research.
