As a unit within the ITS Tech Solutions (ITSTS), ITSR2 unit is primarily tasked with ensuring the cohesive delivery of regional IT programs and initiatives, as well as aligning existing support channels with business needs. In achieving its objectives and providing for a best possible IT customer experience, Tech Solutions directs and partners with CO/HQ IT Support teams, 24/7 IT Service Desks, Training and Outreach, as well as cross-functional teams delivering products and solutions.
ITSR2 team members are responsible for providing high quality of information and technology support services to the WBG offices across several regions (Eastern and Central Europe, Middle East and North Africa and Latin America and Caribbean). In addition, the team is expected to assist with projects initiated from Bank’s HQ and the Region, by providing local perspective and input to be incorporated in designing and testing solutions.
ITSR2 is looking for a Data Analytics who will provide support in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, and visualizing business partners data from various technology sources. The main role of the specialist will be to interpret patterns and trends from the collected data and report back to the project coordinator with a comprehensive analysis to help understand client patterns and behaviors that will allow to adjust technology strategies based on data.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
•Work in partnership with the manager, regional leaders, front office, local ITs and other ITS teams to define the analysis process and interpret the selected data sets.
•Filter and “clean” data samples by using statistical tools/apps including tableau, survey monkey, Microsoft forms, excel, Power BI, and SharePoint online.
•Identify patterns and trends in complex and large data sets by using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
•Analyze the results of surveys and clients’ interviews.
•Ensure quality and accuracy of the data and analysis results.
•Prepare reports and visual presentations.
Selection Criteria
•Bachelor’s degree in a field with an emphasis on statistical and analytical skills: computer science, information technology, engineering, or business with no experience required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
•High level of English proficiency.
•Advanced Excel skills and use of statistical applications.
•Proven ability to work alone and in a team environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills; Attention to details.
•Ability to write comprehensive reports and present persuasively.
•Analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving; Display intellectual curiosity and seek opportunities for personal and professional improvement.
•Be a self-starter that finds opportunities for development and can deliver solutions with minimal oversight.
Note: “The selected person will be hired on three years renewable Term contract which can be extended based on business needs and performance.”
