Operations Support Specialist

Role

The role of the Operations Support Specialist is to support the standards development process, acting as a centralized contact point for both internal and external stakeholders and focusing on production related activities.
The Operations Support Specialist is part of the Production Flow unit and work closely with the Process Manager for process related matters, to ensure process efficiency, as well as other ISO/CS units.

Key responsibilities

  • Validate and process files submitted to ISO/CS through the Submission Interface (ensuring data accuracy), supporting Committee Managers when required
  • Manage the enquiry, approval and publication processes (e.g., in ISO Projects, ISO Ballots), paying particular attention to high profile/impact projects
  • Help and support the coordination of production chain related activities and contacts with external partners (i.e. Vienna Agreement, translation procedure, relations with IEC, etc.)
  • Manage relevant generic email accounts relating to production chain matters ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Update/maintain ISO Projects database as required
  • Maintain the highest degree of quality, timely delivery and consistency in achieving the goal of producing error-free deliverables
  • Maintain relevant Production QMS documentation (i.e. Wiki), so that it is fit for purpose
Report to: Head of Production

Qualification and Experience

  • 2 years’ operational experience in project coordination, business support services or other related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management
  • Experience with database development and implementation (business process)
  • Good knowledge and use of IT tools
  • Experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of French is an asset)
