The Information Technology and Management (ITM) Unit of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Copenhagen is responsible for supporting UNDP country offices worldwide with ICT and green energy solutions. Our unit offers a challenging and versatile internship in an international environment with contacts with diverse partners from some 166 countries where UNDP is present. We are a team that works in a dynamic and informal atmosphere, and we expect our interns to become essential members of the team. As an intern, you will be given tasks and opportunities that have a direct global impact on the development efforts of the international community.
The UNDP/ITM Green Energy Support Internship Programme enriches the academic life experience of passionate students as interns and equips them to become the socially responsible, innovative and environmentally responsible leaders of tomorrow. We bridge the gap between academic learning and real-time industry experience by taking interns behind the scenes of major global clean energy and sustainable development initiatives, while learning to consider the local context. As part of our dynamic unit, you will also have the opportunity to build global relationships with other talented interns and UN staff from other agencies. Our office is located in UN City in Copenhagen, giving you the opportunity to interact with people outside of the UNDP ITM unit.
