Working conditions

This consultancy does not include travel. The person hired will work remotely during the planning of the workshop and the workshop will be delivered in person in Mexico City.

Characteristics of technical and economic proposal

All documents submitted must be drafted by the consultant and must be submitted independently and uploaded to the corresponding links in the application.

Only proposals from individuals will be accepted, and payment will be made according to the table indicated in the deliverables section.

Technical proposal:

• Updated CV that explicitly demonstrates the academic credentials, knowledge, experience and skills required according to this consultancy.

Economic proposal:

According to document   575353_Proposed Features.pdf ,  make sure that the percentages indicated for each deliverable match the amount in your proposal. In order to consider the request as valid, it is important to follow the characteristics mentioned in the document.

Remarks: 

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and advance to the next stage of the selection process.
• Individuals engaged under a consultancy will not be considered “staff members” under the United Nations Staff Rules and Regulations and UNICEF policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to the benefits provided therein (such as leave and medical insurance coverage). Their terms of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for Individual Consultant Services. Consultants are responsible for determining their tax obligations and for the payment of taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
• The successful candidate is solely responsible for ensuring that the visa (if applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire contract period. Successful candidates are subject to confirmation of their full vaccination status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment. This does not apply to consultants who will be working remotely and are not expected to work or visit UNICEF facilities, programme delivery sites or interact directly with the communities UNICEF works with, or travel to perform duties for UNICEF during the duration of their consultancy contracts.
• The consultancy will be awarded to the consultant who obtains the best overall rating from the sum of both evaluations (technical and economic) (cumulative analysis).
