About this position

We are looking for a resultsand teamoriented Data and Analytics Consultant to join our Workforce Intelligence Team (WIin the Human Resources Department (HR. The WIT is responsible for designing, leading, and executing the endtoend analyses in areas related to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning and Development and Compensation and Benefits.

Your primary focus will be applying data mining techniques, doing analyses, and building highquality reports and presentations aligned with HRD’s strategic functions. You will be supporting data governance and data quality processes to facilitate the development and implementation of data quality best practices and data protection standards in HRD. You will also ensure adherence to data policies, procedures, and guidelines to achieve the required level of quality and protection of critical data and information handled by HRD.

What you’ll do

  • Collect, clean, and organize HR data from various sources (e.g., HRIS, SAP HCM, performance management systems, survey.
  • Utilize Power BI to develop interactive dashboards and reports that visualize HR metrics and trends.
  • Analyze HR data to identify patterns, correlations, and insights related to employee satisfaction, turnover, performance, and other key areas.
  • Prepare regular and adhoc reports to inform HR decisionmaking and strategic planning.
  • Provide input and feedback on the data governance framework and existing practices, recommending improvements.
  • Ensure, within the HR data governance function, that data collected is properly defined, organized and with quality, to be used and analyzed.
  • Supply analysis to advance process improvements on projects and initiatives, contribute to the use and development of the new HR tools and technologies and recommend best practices.
  • Lead analyses of data and perform root cause analyses, identifying and documenting patterns of errors, and providing recommendations for corrections. Understand all aspects of data processing, preparation, analysis, and presentation of information in an easytounderstand format.
  • Attend to the HR team on an ongoing basis for adhoc products, and external data requests.
  • Conduct analyses and apply visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikVieto create reports and robust dashboards for realtime analytics for HRD’s leadership team and business partners.
  • Use data analysis to share compelling insights and stories through narrative and graphic representation. Communicate results clearly and persuasively.

What you’ll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degrein computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, preferably in HR analytics. Familiarity with SAP HCM, SQL Server, Success Factors, Tableau, Power BI or QlikView a plus.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguesis required.

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48member countries.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spousworking at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
