UNESCO MGIEP believes that youth need more opportunities to participate actively in decisionmaking and have a more significant say in policymaking that will impact their futures. UNESCO MGIEP is seeking a national project officer to support the youth program officer in developing the Institutewide youth strategy and the development of a global network for the YouthDriven Communities of Peace (YoDCO.
Under the overall authority of the Director and direct supervision of the youth program officer of the Institute, the incumbent will serve as an “Associate Project Officer” and will support the Youth Project Officer in managing the youth projects specifically in PVE (Prevention of Violent Extremis, Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCV, and Peacebuilding educational activities.
