Lograr el Hambre Cero en el mundo de hoy sigue siendo un desafío. El propósito del monitoreo y evaluación de programas (M&es aumentar la eficiencia y efectividad de los programas del PMA, para la toma de decisiones y la rendición de cuentas. El monitoreo funciona como uno de los principales mecanismos de control de calidad de los programas del PMA, al hacer un seguimiento de la eficiencia y calidad, asegurando la rendición de cuentas hacia las personas beneficiarias y participantes, y previniendo el mal uso de los recursos disponibles. El M&E apoya la toma de decisiones de programas y permite al PMA demostrar el desempeño y los resultados a los donantes y otras partes interesadas.
Educación: Licenciatura en ciencias económicas, administración pública, ciencias sociales o temas relacionados.
Deseable especialización en monitoreo y evaluación de proyectos sociales, resiliencia, emergencia, cambio climático, migración, conflicto y paz, o áreas relacionadas.
Experiencia: Al menos 7 años de experiencia consecutiva en el diseño, implementación o seguimiento de programas de desarrollo, planificación y participación comunitaria, preferiblemente en seguridad alimentaria y nutricional o en medios de vida rurales.
Deseable experiencia en análisis de información para procesos de toma de decisiones, mapeo de datos y preparación de informes.
Idiomas: Dominio del español (nivel
Deseable conocimiento intermedio de inglés (nivel B 1/2)
Conocimientos: En paquetes estadísticos (SPSS, R, STATA, Oytho, visualización de datos (Tableay en mapeo (ArcGi.
Experimentado en software de recopilación de datos electrónicos (Kobo, ODK, MODA, SurveyCTO, etc.).
