The opportunity
The post holder will oversee Child Protection in Emergency (CPiand Gender Based Violence in Emergency (GBViactivities in designated Local Government Areas (LGAof Borno state and ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the agreed workplan and as per the signed agreement with the donor and Plan International. He/she will be providing handson guidance, support, mentoring and coaching to CPiE and GBViE frontline staff, Case Workers and PSS volunteers to ensure smooth and quality implementation of child protection and GBV in emergencies project.
About You
We are looking for an applicant with a University degree in Social Science, Social Work, human rights, law, psychology or related field. The candidate should possess a minimum of 35 years’ experience in child protection work with a humanitarian organisation. S/he should have solid knowledge base and practical experience in communitybased child protection approaches, case management, psychosocial support and child participation methodologies.
