Digital Transformation is a gamechanging opportunity to reinvent the IDB Group by connecting and leveraging existing resources, assets, knowledge, and capabilities to create and deliver value to our employees, clients, and partners. The Digital Transformation Program drives the Digital Transformation of the IDB Group to reinvent the way we work, do business, and deliver value, daring to do things differently. We connect the dots across people, technology, data, and processes with a holistic and crossfunctional vision. Digital transformation will be a key enabler to achieving the objectives of the new Institutional Strategy of the IDB Group, currently under preparation, by pursuing three objectives: (Reduce the transactional costs to IDB Group clients by simplifying internal processes, making them clientcentric and digitalizing them leveraging new technologies to speed up corporate workflows and enhance employee’s productivity with a focus on results; (iiEnhance the delivery of value to IDB Group clients through a new generation of products and services powered by new technologies; (iiBecome a resultsoriented organization that advances business agility, motivating and empowering employees to innovate, collaborate, and connect the silos to deliver value.
What you’ll do:
At the Program level, conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes across various departments and functions within the organization to identify areas for improvement within current workflows and procedures.
Support the design and implementation of a data governance model in the institution and the implementation of guidance at the project level to enhance datadriven decisionmaking in our processes.
As a Project Manager, connect the vision of Digital Transformation with the execution of projects and manage key stakeholders.
Be responsible for delivering the planning, managing, executing, and closing projects within the defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Oversee project teams and coordinate activities to ensure project objectives are met.
Create and maintain project plans, track progress, and identify risks.
Deliver knowledge and insights from business processes and their gaps and inefficiencies that could hinder or provide breakthroughs to transformation efforts.
Collect and process corporate and operational data with Excel or statistical packages such as Stata or R to provide insights for senior manager decisionmaking.
Coordinate and/or participate in requirement gathering and requirements validation exercises with stakeholders to enable the creation of new dashboards.
Identify institutional hard wiring that needs to be upgraded, including policies, regulations, and processes that enable digital transformation.
Incorporate lessons learned from past project experiences, their challenges, and root causes to frame current projects and avoid recurrence.
Identify opportunities and develop projects to transform corporate processes, directly impacting operational processes.
Contribute to change management efforts, mapping stakeholders within the IDB Group at the program and project level, particularly allies to support the change and potential detractors.
What you’ll need
Education: Master’s degree in information systems, finance, economics, statistics, or any other field relevant to the role’s responsibilities.
Experience: At least five years of relevant experience in SG operations. Proven strong analytical skills and experience in positions in which one of the main responsibilities is to engage others to generate transformation.
Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Requirements
Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48 member countries with a residency or legal permit to work in one of the countries where IDB is located.
Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spousworking at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
Type of contract and duration
National staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
