Organizational context:
The job holder will work under the supervision of the Head of FieldOffice, receiving guidance and regular feedback from the Programme Policy Officer (gender, protection, and accountabilitand Monitoring/Evaluation officer from the Country Office on work performed. S/he will be based in the Dhangadhi FieldOffice, requiring travel to WFP activities implemented areas.
Job Purpose:
To provide support to policy and programme activities that effectively meet WFP Nepal Country Strategic Plan (2G CS20242028 operation needs.
Background:
WFP Nepal’s Country Strategic Plan (2G CS20242028 was reviewed and approved by the WFP Executive Board in its session of November 2024 and it came into effect from January It aims to contribute to four Country Strategic Plan Outcomes (CSP Outcomethat are aligned to two Strategic Results of Sustainable Development Goals (SD2 (Zero Hungeand SDG 17 (Partnerships for Developmen. A total of six Activities are planned to be implemented to achieve the contributions to the four CSPs.
Under the Integrated Road Map (IR, WFP has committed to a new way of working, linking not only all activities to the defined Strategic Outcomes but also linking resources used for implementing the activities to the results achieved.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Programme Associate (Operation Supporwill be directly supervised by the Head of the WFP FieldOfficeS/he will have the overall responsibility of assisting the WFP Country Office and FieldOffice to document the impact of the CSP activities and develop knowledge products, gather the information in relation with protection and accountability issues and help in timely management response. The key responsibilities include:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education:
Completion of Higher Secondary school education with a focus on a relevant discipline: gender studies, development studies, information management, social sciences, law, human rights, international development, or related fields. Higher education (Bachelor’s degreis desirable.
