THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE:
Reporting to the Manager, Face to Face & Telemarketing, the FacetoFace (F2Fundraising Coordinator will support the execution of the strategy to acquire and retain new high quality monthly and one time giving donors through facetoface fundraising. This role will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on time and that new donor targets and other critical KPIs are achieved.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited t:
Vendor / Partner Management and Relationship Building:
- In collaboration with team and vendor partners, develop and maintain an excellent F2F donor experience that is focused on donor quality and longterm monthly donor value.
- Review program performance weekly with partners; monitor and share results against key internally set program KPIs (monthland make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with the F2F vendors to address and resolve complaints or other donor communications in a timely manner.
- Deliver trainings in person or remotely and provide updates on field operations for external fundraising partners across Canada; arrange staff/field worker presentations.
- Support the Acquisition Manager in vendor contract negotiations.
- Working with vendor fundraising team(to meet F2F donor quality and retention targets (in first 3 month; collaborate with team to identify opportunities to enhance F2F donor welcome process and journey.
Channel Planning and Execution:
- Provide direct support to the Acquisition Manager, FacetoFace and Telemarketing on the daytoday operations of STC’s F2F program.
- Participate in the development of forecasts and projections for relevant campaigns in line with Acquisition Program objectives; track and report on budget spend and progress against targets and internal F2F KPIs. Develop strategy to take corrective action if needed, in collaboration with Acquisition Manager.
- Support the launch of campaign activities across Canada including vendor material management, updating internal acquisition tracker weekly, and by tracking, managing and communicating vendor territory with all relevant stakeholders.
- Keep fundraising teams informed of Save the Children’s programmatic work and contribute to contentgathering for direct marketing communications.
- Develop fundraising cases for support and campaign materials; ensure they are kept up to date, on brand and with relevant approvals (scripts, training decks, pitch cards, canvasser vests, leavebehinds, etc.)
- Monitor inventory levels of all printed materials and collateral related to F2F fundraising teams; arrange for reprints when necessary.
Internal Stakeholder Support
- Support any donor or publicfacing issues escalated by the Donor Services team, tracking and communicating with external vendors and/or escalating internally, as required. Track trends and rates of complaints relating to F2F; seek solutions to trends; escalate to Acquisition Manager as needed.
- Keep internal stakeholders such as Donor Services and Communications teams informed of all campaign activities. Ensure that website and other relevant information related to F2F is kept up to date.
- Where relevant, work with internal data team to support donation processes and data uploads to bridge vendor and Save the Children systems.
- Support departmental emergency fundraising activity during humanitarian crises when required.
- Ensure channel plans align with other channels within mass marketing teams, support integration where possible.
Other
- Act as back up to the Acquisition Manager in their absence and support the direct marketing team by taking on additional tasks as required.
- Review, process and track all invoices in a timely manner.
- Stay current with research, fundraising trends, and areas of development for F2F program and acquisition campaigns.
- Attend Save the Children global skill development calls.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the role.
Qualifications include (but are not limited t:
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with a focus on efficiency.
- Highly detailoriented and able to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Minimum 13 years’ experience in the fields of Fundraising and/or Mass Marketing.
- Direct experience in facetoface canvassing strongly preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to correspond in a tactful and professional manner.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Aptitude for planning and analysis with strong project management skills.
- Ability to identify and approach potential barriers to achieving target results with a solutionfocused mindset.
- Keeps priorities identified and distinguishes between important and urgent issues.
- Comfortable interacting with donors through phone and email.
- Strong competencies in Windows environment and with Microsoft Office software, including (but not limited tOutlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in English, with strong copyediting skills
- Proficiency in French an asset
- Experience using CRM database an asset.
