The Consultant is expected to support the work of the EMRO Regional HR Manager in the last quarter of 2024 (OctoberDecembe. The consultant will mainly focus on supporting the manager in conducting data analysis in qualitative and quantitative ways together with the rest of the team. The consultant will create strategic communication materials, briefing, minutes and will work on the current recruitment workflow with the aim of creating efficiencies. The consultant will focus on longlisting candidates for key positions, apply advanced technologies including AI, and implement innovative solutions.
He/ she will ensure the intranet site serves as an effective communication platform and will prepare visually engaging reports, presenting complex information in a clear and accessible format. Lastly the consultant will create a repository of available generic post descriptions.

The consultant is under the direct supervision of the Regional Human Resources Manager and will work closely with the HR Business Partners. The objectives of the Human Resources and Talent Management Unit (HRare to carry out, in an efficient and timely manner, all human resources for the WHO Regional Office and Country Offices under its responsibility, including workforce planning and analysis, staffing, policy formulation and interpretation, medical services, learning and development, conflict resolution, and strategic advice on human resources matters to staff and management.

Output 1: Recruitment
Deliverable 1: Support in longlisting of key positions;
Deliverable 2 Review the current recruitment workflow drafting of the workflow
Output 2: strategic communication materials, briefing, minutes :
Deliverable 1: Draft communication materials including videos and executive summary
Deliverable 2: Develop templates for briefings and minutes as well as change management processes;

Educational Qualifications:
Essential: University degree in management or HR or related disciplines
Experience:
Essential: 12 years of experience in human resources, especially related to generic post descriptions and recruitment.
Desirable: experience developing communication materials.
Skills/Technical skills and knowledge:
Strong IT and knowledge management skills coupled with HR knowledge especially in recruitment, job descriptions and workflow design.
Languages and level required:
Essential: Fluent in English
Desirable: Fluency in Arabic (written and spoke
