Job Overview
The Program Officer, Community Development, will further IRC efforts in the Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration (RAunit to build and harness key community resources and referrals and to foster the engagement initiatives of IRC US offices to assist clients better as they integrate into their new communities as well as support the communities that welcome them.
There is a critical need to cultivate and maintain community connections as IRC continues to serve the ongoing needs of arrivals in the US. The Program Officer will play a key function in supporting IRC program offices and partners to identify a broader set of community resources and referrals, develop resources to engage partnerships across the community, and strategically build robust systems that ensure ongoing community support across resettlement programs.
