We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of DCOP/Technical Lead for the anticipated USAID Tanzania Foundational Skills Activity. This position will be based in Dodoma, Tanzania and is contingent on funder award of the project to FHI 360 and funder approval of the selected applicant in the position.
Project Description:
USAID Tanzania is planning a foundational skills activity to follow its (USAID’current JifunzeUelewe project. No public information is available about this new activity yet; however, we expect it will focus on early grade reading, math and socialemotional skills, teacher professional development, local systems strengthening and community engagement. We anticipate a 4 to 5year activity in the $2550M range.
Position Description:
The DCOP/Technical Leadworks in close coordination with the Chief of Party (COand is responsible for managing the quality and timeliness of the project’s overall technical workstream. They will supervise thetechnical team, liaise with technical partners, relevant national stakeholders, beneficiaries and the donor, as needed.
