JOB DESCRIPTION
Controlling Banking Operations and Reporting Chief Economist, Finance Department
Key responsibilities:
Carrying out daily control of banking operations and their reflection in accordance with the Bank’s Accounting Policy, control over the correctness of accounting in accordance with IFRS;
Opening/closing accounts in the Bank’s ABS, account inventory;
Opening/closing business days;
Control over the implementation of manual transactions;
Preparation of quarterly, semiannual, annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
Support for the semiannual review audit and annual audit of the bank, interaction with external auditors;
Preparation of the Bank’s cash flow statement using the direct method;
Preparation of quarterly reports for the bank’s shareholder;
Preparation of reports and materials for the internal audit on a semiannual basis, processing of Audit Committee’s requests for reporting and accounting data;
Preparation of the Bank’s monthly management reports;
Financial planning (PL, B, budget execution analysis, data consolidation, comprehensive analysis of financial and economic activities;
Preparation of analytical data for calculating the Bank’s KPI, rating agencies and external requests.
Job requirements: Education:
University degree in economics, finance;
Additional professional certificates (ACCA, CIMA etc.) will be an advantage.
Work experience:
Working experience in related function within Financial Department of a bank at least three years;
Experience in preparing and verification of financial reporting according to IFRS;
Working experience in auditing and/or financial controlling;
Experience in BIG4 companies is an advantage;
Work experience in international organizations and/or international banks and/or development banks and/or commercial banks, including IIB member states (top 40) and/or a relevant position in dedicated governmental bodies in the Bank’s member states – desired.
Knowledge, skills and competencies:
Knowledge of accounting and IFRS principles in a bank;
Knowledge of banking management reporting principles;
Strong analytical skills;
Advanced PC user (Excel, Word, Power Point – advanced user; Access, Business Object/Business Intelligent, Diasoft – as additional advantag;
UpperIntermediate and higher level of Russian and English languages;
Knowledge of second foreign language of IIB memberstates is a plus.
