The English Access Scholarship Program (Accesis a multifaceted program designed to support global English language learning needs and to improve English teaching globally. The program exposes participants to U.S. culture and democratic values through English language scholarships, professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators, and programming for alumni. Since its inception in 2004, over 200,000 students in more than 80 countries have participated in the Access Program activities.

This position requires availability from 9:005:00 ET and will require one week of inperson attendance at the Washington, D.C. office each year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational assistance for the administration of the English Access Scholarship Program.
  • Partner with and support Regional Program Officers in regional portfolios.
  • Complete administrative tasks in support of core project operations including agreement setup, processing program reports, and program close out.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of project materials, including but not limited to internal process outlines, standard program templates, and standard communication templates.
  • Review and verify program documents for accuracy.
  • In partnership with the Regional Program Officers, ensure that routine program communication is sent to U.S. Embassy personnel.
  • Perform quality assurance checks of new technologies to improve program procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and facilitation of training sessions for internal and external Access Program team members.
  • Other duties, as assigned

  • Strong data management and digital literacy, including use of databases; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, and SharePoint. Advanced SharePoint and Excel skills preferred.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a minimum of 23 years of work experience in a NGO, government agency or private organization.
  • Some travel may be required in this position.
  • This position requires availability from 9:005:00 ET and will require one week of inperson attendance at the Washington, D.C. office each year.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidate FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.

 

Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working fulltime, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a fulltime schedule.

 

US Based Hiring Salary Range: $51,000$67,000

International hiring ranges will differ based on location.
