Background
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Country Office for Pakistan (COPAK) is tasked with assisting Pakistan through its Country Programme (CP) 2022-2025 with a focus on illicit trafficking and border management, criminal justice and drug demand reduction and HIV/AIDS. UNODC requires the services of driver to be based in Karachi with regular visits to other cities of Pakistan.
Assignment Objective
The position will provide reliable and safe driving services to UNODC staff ensuring the highest standards of discretion and integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol and security issues. The driver also demonstrates a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact and ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

Planning and Implementation Arrangements
The Senior Driver will need to be based in the UNODC Country Office Pakistan, Islamabad to complete the deliverables required under this position. The Driver will report to the Finance and Oversight Manager.
Payment Schedule and Rate
The Senior driver will be issued an SC contract in accordance with United Nations rules and procedures. Payment scale will be determined by UNDP recommended rates for service contract holders. Travel costs including transportation and DSA for domestic and international travel will be paid by UNODC in accordance with United Nations rules and procedures.
