Background:
The post is located in the Communications Unit of the Office of Political Affairs (OPA) and Communications (COMMS) known as OPAC. The OPAC Section is a core component of the Head of Mission’s Department providing advice, clearance, and oversight of all political and communications related topics for the Mission. Its COMMS Section is responsible for managing OMiK’s communication and media relations activities, as well as for raising the profile of the Mission and highlighting its achievements.
The National Visual Communications Officer plays a crucial role in a Communications Team, creating clear, creative and engaging content for the intended audience. By collaborating closely with the supervisor and the team, he/she takes a lead role in designing products that highlight the Mission’s work, attract new audiences, and contributing to achieving both the Team’s and the Mission’s objectives.

Remuneration Package:
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 1,609.42 Euro/month. Social benefits will include participation in the OSCE group medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions.

The mandatory retirement age at the OSCE is 65 years for contracted positions at the general service, professional and director level. The Organization shall apply an age limit of 62 years at the time of appointment as the incumbent selected is normally expected to carry out the contractual obligation of two years.
