JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Your Role

As Associate IT Officer (Information Security), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of identity-related processes in transitioning the operation of the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution from managed services to in-house, and to support the migration of the existing application to a new cloud solution. You will support the unit by coordinating cross-functional activities in the maintenance and administration of the IGA tool and access control policy enforcement. You will also be responsible for providing operational and analytical support to production incidents and user stories, coordinating schedules and requirements, and monitoring activities and deliverables.

You will:

  • Assist in the development of business cases and other project documents for identity-related cybersecurity projects.
  • Contribute to access control policy enforcement by assisting in confirming that the existing access controls in the current solution are compatible with and will be supported in the new cloud solution.
  • Facilitate the shift from external managed services to internal support by meticulously documenting all scheduled tasks, clearly delineating and allocating roles and responsibilities, and aiding in the preparation for operational handover.
  • Assist Sprint activities by monitoring and reviewing the work items in Azure DevOps for production user stories, bugs, and incident tickets.
  • Assist in ensuring the timely closure of tasks and incidents with complete supporting documentation and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Serve as focal point for coordinating, monitoring and reporting on monthly production releases ensuring supporting application change request documents are timely prepared and submitted.
  • Facilitate governance activities by monitoring progress/status of matters requiring action/attention to ensure timely completion and promoting better coordination across the division. Provides periodic status reports and/or dashboards on initiatives.
  • Support access reviews, attestation and audit requests.
  • Support in proactively identifying access control risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
  • Participate in role-based access control initiatives in the future.
  • Document processes and automate solutions whenever possible to ensure efficient monitoring and issue resolution in the future.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned and reflected in the incumbent’s workplan.

Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management, business or any related field, preferably with advanced training.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in IGA tool project management, production support and administration.
  • Strong background/familiarity with ADB IGA projects and operations is highly preferred.
  • Solid experience in the use of IGA Solution, Incident Management Tool, and Project Administration Tool (preferably, Deep Identity/Sailpoint, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.)
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Solid critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organization skills
  • Very attentive to details and methodical with work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline intensive environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to motivate or inspire a good work ethics among IT security analysts
