Description of the Assignment:

• Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Consultant will monitor execution of the construction works on site and be responsible to provide the following services:
• Quality assurance of technical project documentation and alignment of documentation with relevant construction laws for Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Monitor execution of the construction works on site;
• Analyze in detail and get familiar with technical documentation related to subject construction works;
• Perform construction site visits during the execution of the construction works;
• Submit report with photographs after each site visit;
• While the primary site supervision will be done by the Expert Supervisors, the Engineer recruited under this ToR will provide the second-level verification/quality assurance of the Contract execution. This verification will include direct communication with the supervision companies, end-user/beneficiary’s appointed supervisions, and the Contractors;
• Ensure that the works are executed in line with the design documents, relevant laws and technical procedures;
• Control quality and quantities of executed works and built- in materials;
• Verify all supporting documentation created during the construction process, with special emphasis on documentation related to payments;
• Meetings with contractors and primary site superintendent when needed;
• Liaise with primary site superintendent, request progress reports and advise him/her on all issues concerning his/hers duties if needed to ensure proper implementation of project activities
• Be informed on possible requests concerning increase of quantities of the works or additional works and advise Project Manager/Team on Contractor’s requests for additional works, change of materials, and other changes to the original design that might occur during the project implementation.
• Keep track of the correspondence with contractors and supervision personnel.
• Attend to final inspection of the completed works.
• Provide technical support and advise to Project Manager and Project team on potential obstacles for implementation as well as alternative or new design solutions, when necessary,
• Provide final report on QC/QA per each object i.e. completed construction process on the object.

Period of assignment/services: November 2024 to February 2025 (up to 38 working days)
