Unit Context:

The Fiduciary Operations (ITSFD) is a unit within the Operations & Country Engagement department (ITSOE) that provides state-of-art information and technology applications to support the business needs of Operations and Corporate VPUs.

Fiduciary Operations support the Procurement, Financial Management, and Environment & Social functions safeguards functions for Bank Operations. Fiduciary systems provide task teams and FM staff with tools to process, track, and report on $5.2B operational procurement and ensure compliance with financial audits and environmental & social safeguards in an integrated and efficient manner.

ITSFD is seeking an IT Officer, Business Solutions I (Solutions Architect) with expertise in modernizing application portfolio to adopt cloud-native solution architectures, including focusing on document solutions like SharePoint, .Net, and have experience with AI document solutions. 

Responsibilities

•Responsible for interfacing with product owners, business analysts, solutions engineers, and clients to recognize business needs and translate them into a technical solution.

•Responsible for identifying what framework / platform, or technologies to be used for any business need.

•Responsible for identifying key patterns and common services and expand them to core platforms for reuse in similar solutions.

•Responsible for Design, development, enhancement, debugging, support, and maintenance of the applications.

•Responsible for systems architecture design and providing high / low level documentations.

•Interface with multiple functional and technical teams to better understand the requirements and priorities.

•Collaborate with various internal departments/personnel to gather business requirements and improve business processes.

•Responsible for hands-on application development and providing guidance, work program oversight to a team of developers located on-premises and off-shore to ensure effective and efficient delivery of solutions.

•Design, develop and deliver applications to meet the performance standards in low bandwidth country offices.

•Prepare designs documents, technical and end-user documentation and contribute to product roadmap.

•Participate in work groups/ SCRUM meetings to come up with the design and release plans for projects.

•Analyze issues and determine alternative or creative solutions to add value to the business and ensure client satisfaction.

•Plan and schedule work program deliverables including resources and timelines using the appropriate methodology including SCRUM.

 

Selection Criteria

 

•Master’s degree in Computer science with minimum 5 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Expertise in document solutions (SharePoint), .Net, and experience with AI document solutions is mandatory

•Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and governance

•Ability to design responsive and user-friendly interfaces

•Strong ability in troubleshooting and problem solving

•Ability to resolve cross browser and cross platform compatibility issues

•Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and cloud integrations required

•Experience in implementing security measures in document management system

•Previous experience or working knowledge of managing or the administration of Azure/Active Directory preferred

•Strong understanding of web services

•Hands-on experience developing web applications using Microsoft .NET framework, C#, SQL Server, and related cloud technologies like Azure Functions, WebApp, APIs

•Advanced knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript

•Hands on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365

•Working knowledge of Power automate and Virtual agents

•Experience working on AI/ML

•Experience in AI document solutions

•Understanding of AI-powered enterprise products

•Proven experience of working and navigating in teams with offshore/onsite model and collaborate across teams to build/maintain complex IT landscapes, and diverse client bases.

•Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the maturity to participate in multiple complex programs at the same time in an Agile environment.

•Ability to deliver information effectively in support of team or workgroup. Excellent communication, writing/documentation, and facilitation skills.

•Ability to participate and collaborate within and across teams in developing options, roadmaps, evaluations, decision frameworks for complex enterprise solutions.

•Demonstrated ability to use rapid application development methodologies and techniques to deploy applications quickly and accurately.

•Experience in Agile/SCRUM based development and collaborate with Product Managers and Design teams.

•Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology

•Ability to learn modern technologies quickly, self-starters and motivated, and able to work with others, and communicate effectively.

•Prior experience developing solutions for a large global organization.
