JOB DESCRIPTION

DRC has been responding to various humanitarian crises in Lebanon since 2004, working with Palestinian, Iraqi and Syrian refugees. DRC received registration from the Ministry of Interior in 2011, and since then has focused primarily on responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon and the resulting impact on Lebanese host community. DRC Lebanon’s focus is to ensure that we are able to respond to critical emerging humanitarian needs whilst improve the living conditions of displacement-affected populations and contribute to the achievement of durable solutions. With an annual portfolio of $12million, and with approximately 200+ staff, DRC is focusing its response in protection and economic recovery (Ec-Rec) sector in Bekka, North Lebanon and Beirut. DRC is also contributing to the evidence base and coordination structures in country through our Evidence Generation and referral information management (RIMs) teams.

About the job

This role will provide support in various HR functions and administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of DRC operations.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist with scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare necessary documents for new hires and facilitate their onboarding process

Employee Records Management:

  • Help maintain employee and former employee files as well as HR and Admin trackers up to date
  • Ensure that all relevant documents are uploaded on Sharepoint
  • Ensure compliance with documentation.
  • Responsible of Timesheets submission and follow up
  • Responsible of sharing monthly payslips with employees

Administrative Tasks:

  • Provide support for daily administrative operations, including physical filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Assist in managing office supplies and inventory.
  • Assist in preparing offline payments

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a Bachelor degree Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required:

  • Basic experience in similar field.
  • Have a vocational and academic educational background and/or relevant experience in related field.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Commit to the values and code of conduct of the Danish Refugee Council
  • Be able to work independently and proactively and handle challenges in a constructive and positive way.
  • Be open-minded and flexible towards the different tasks assigned to you.
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural setting with colleagues and participants from different backgrounds.

Contract length: 2 months subject to study requirements and further dialogue

  • Working hours: max 40 hours per week, subject to study requirements and further dialogue. We offer flexibility when you have study obligations next to the internship.

The internship is not paid but we offer:
