The Project Officer will report to the Humanitarian Team Lead will work alongside with Community based trainers to ensure quality deliver of the project and will assist the Team Lead in facilitating effective implementation of the project activities to ensure project results are delivered in time and line with project proposal. The Officer provides technical support to the project volunteers (CBTs) and shall ensure:-

  • Excellent relationships with all stakeholders involved in the project implementation especially implementing and other operating Partners including UNHCR, OPM and DLG, will ensure
  • Proper mapping of value chain actors, map potential market out lets, prepare trainings for increased production.
  • Capacity of institutions and Community Based Trainers are well built to lead to successful project deliverables for the refugees and host communities.
  • Proper profiling of the key financial service provision point for the adolescents and women in refuge and host communities with special focus on the village savings and loan associations (VSLAs).
  • Increase on the mass production of handcrafts and also access to financial services for adolescents and women.
