The intern will work closely with CDOTS’ Communications, Outreach, and Digital Media lead, who also manages the UNTold: Behind the Scenes of UN Operations initiative. By showcasing these solutions, UNTold connects headquarters with the field, encouraging the replication of successful projects to save time and resources, while fostering collaboration between project implementers and potential replicators for more efficient service delivery. The Intern will be responsible for the following tasks, including: • Edit and manage post-production for mini documentaries using Final Cut Pro X/Adobe Premiere. • Create graphic assets for promotional materials for virtual discussions using Adobe Suite. • Write, review, and edit articles for the UN’s internal platform, iSeek. • Draft run-of-show scripts and follow-up emails for virtual discussions. • Summarize virtual discussion sessions and manage related communications. • Prepare and deliver presentations on the UNTold initiative. • Write and distribute periodic newsletters highlighting CDOTS’ activities. • Collaborate with clients to develop video scripts and concepts. • Film interviews and produce promotional videos. • Create various communications materials as required. • Support metadata clean-up on the UN Knowledge Gateway. • Perform additional duties as needed.
