Plan International Pilipinas is implementing a project to empower local government units (LGUs) and communities in disaster risk reduction and preparedness in Samar. This project aims to improve the resilience of 7,680 children and adults to natural hazards.

We are looking for a Logistics and Procurement Officer to join our team!

About the Role:

The Logistics and Procurement Officer will play a vital role in supporting the project by providing administrative, procurement, logistics, and asset management services. You will be responsible for canvassing supplies, facilitating purchases, managing deliveries, and ensuring the proper recording of project assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research, canvass prices, and update supplier databases.
  • Prepare purchase orders and facilitate bidding processes following Plan International Pilipinas and donor guidelines.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring adherence to the Safeguarding Children and Program Participants Policy.
  • Liaise with suppliers, receive and inspect purchased items and manage their issuance.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements, manage mail distribution, and coordinate document reproduction.
  • Maintain a fixed asset inventory system, including recording assets, conducting physical inventories, and assisting with asset disposal.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Training in records management, asset management, and basic computer operations (MS Office and email) are required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, asset management, and/or records management.
  • Experience driving a four-wheel drive vehicle and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
