The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the UN organization that supports human development globally by promoting volunteerism and by mobilizing volunteers. It is administered by UNDP and operates amidst growing recognition that volunteerism makes important contributions, economically and socially, to more cohesive societies by building trust and reciprocity among citizens.

Context

As part of the visa requirements for Yemen, a CV in Arabic must be submitted with the Visa application in order to be eligible to enter Yemen. For this purpose, we are seeking an online volunteer with experience in translation to assist us with translating documents of international UN volunteers (IUNV) to Arabic, such as their CVs, Description of Assignments (DoAs), and letters so they can submit them along with their visa application.

Task Description

UNV Yemen is looking for an online volunteer with a strong command of both English and Arabic to translate CVs and other documents from English to Arabic The task – Translate 1 CV, two letters and 1 Description of Assignment (DOA) from English to Arabic – Proofread the translated document to ensure a quality translation
