In general, ADB consulting contracts may be extended to a reasonable degree when doing so is justified within ADB's core procurement principles. Any extensions are subject to operational needs, consultant performance, and continued availability of funds.

The research associate is tasked to coordinate and provide technical support in the design of capacity-building programs, undertake research and collection of key information and materials for the capacity building, and organize launch of online learning programs and other dissemination activities. The research associate will report to the ADB Project Leader and national officer, and coordinate with experts (i.e., international economists, editor, and IT expert) engaged by the project for the capacity-building programs.
