Les activités UNICEF de construction au Mali connaissent une importante progression ces dernières années. Une analyse du portefeuille Construction sur ces dernières années ainsi que sur les deux prochaines, confirment une augmentation exponentielle depuis la création de l’Unité de Construction Mali datant de 2018. En effet, les chiffres montrent que les projets de Construction sur lesquels UNICEF Mali s’est positionné et continue de se positionner, vont doubler voire tripler pour les deux prochaines années pour passer à plus de 3 millions USD de construction par an.
Dans ce contexte d’augmentation des projets de Construction, le bureau UNICEF Mali nécessite une bonne gestion de ses activités liées à la réhabilitation/construction. Ces activités touchent non seulement les différents programmes (Education, WASH (en termes d’appui technique), Santé, Protection, SBC, Communication, etc.) mais également les Operations et sont de plusieurs natures : infrastructures scolaires, sanitaires, centres de jeunes pour le SBC, entrepôts de stockage, etc., y inclus la réhabilitation/reconstruction des infrastructures UNICEF (bureaux/entrepôts). Ceci implique que l’UNICEF Mali a besoin d’experts dédiés pour la gestion et le suivi de ces travaux de construction afin de faire face au volume des fonds qui sont investis.
Le bureau de l’UNICEF au Mali et particulièrement les sections de l’éducation, de la WASH, la santé et les Operations nécessitent un Construction Officer qui va permettre à l’UNICEF de réagir efficacement à la demande croissante et les aménagements des différents bureaux de l’UNICEF au Mali avec la capacité technique appropriée. Cela nécessite le recrutement d’un Construction Officer pour une gestion technique continue, laquelle ne peut pas être adéquatement fourni par le personnel généraliste existant dans les sections de l’éducation, WASH, Santé et Operations en sein du bureau du pays. Le poste sera basé à Bamako avec de fréquents voyages sur les sites de projets dans les régions du pays.

Minimum requirements:
Licence en génie civil, en construction, en architecture ou tout autre diplome universitaire d’une école de technicien supérieur en génie civile.
– Au moins un an d’expérience dans le domaine de la gestion de contrat de construction, suivi des travaux, contrôle de la qualité.
– Connaissance des matériaux de construction, des méthodes et des outils appropriés pour construire des forages et autres structures.
– Aptitude avérée à travailler en équipe, dans un environnement multiculturel et à établir des relations de travail harmonieuses et efficaces tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur de l’organisation.
– Excellente connaissance de l’outil informatique, plus particulièrement les tableurs et les applications Microsoft: Excel, Powerpoint, AUTOCAD.
