FHI 360 is currently recruiting for the position of Director of Finance and Administration(DFA) for an anticipated USAID-funded resilienceprogram in Morocco. This new award will leverage the private sector for sustainable, inclusive economic growth and strengthen Morocco’s resilience to shocks and long-term stressors, including water scarcity and drought. The award will seek to improve the enabling environment for investment and business growth for a sustainable economy, assist early-stage entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises through access to finance and technical support to create and scale innovative solutions increasing economic resilience, and promote a skilled workforce to support the development and growth of a sustainable and equitable economy.The budget is expected to be $10-$25 million.
Job Summary:
The Director of Finance and Administration has senior level responsibility for all operational, financial and administrative functions of the project. As a member of the project’s senior leadership team reporting to the COP, s/he will keep abreast of all project activities and be responsible forestablishing and maintaining operational systems and staff that meet the needs and expectations of the project and are compliant with USAID, FHI 360 and government of Morocco policies and regulations. Specifically, the DFA will be responsible forensuring effective financial, subaward, human resource (HR), purchasing, contracting, facilities, security and travel systems are in place. S/he will oversee financial and administrative reporting, track compliance with contract administrative requirements, ensure sound accounting practices and procedures are in place and provide regular updates to project and FHI 360 leadership staff on project operations. The DFA will participate in regularproject planning and will implement successful strategies to improve quality of service, productivity, and cost efficiency and ensure the best value is obtained for all goods and services.
We anticipatethe position to bebased inRabat, Morocco.Employment is contingent upon successful award of the project to FHI 360 and subsequent approval of the candidate by USAID.
