Background
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) is seeking a partner organization to license essential datasets related to agro-dealer networks and seed sales. The datasets include 2020 census data on agro-dealers and panel data that track trends of seed sales among agro-dealers in subsequent years. These datasets will be pivotal in informing research on seed systems, agro-input markets, and policy recommendations aimed at improving agricultural productivity and food security.
The selected organization will be responsible for granting IFPRI access to these datasets, ensuring they are properly cleaned, validated, and documented. The datasets must be accompanied by comprehensive metadata, ensuring they are ready for immediate analysis by IFPRI researchers. The partner will work closely with IFPRI to address any data-related issues and provide the necessary support for efficient data usage.
