JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the overall supervision of the Senior Protection Coordinator and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer (VHR), and in close coordination with protection and Operations Team, the incumbent will provide support to the data monitoring, reporting, analysis and management of IOM Libya PxD activities with a specific focus on the VHR and core specialised PXD programs. The incumbent will be based in Tripoli.

1. Support internal communication to facilitate efficient information exchange and adherence to data standards by establishing consistent communication channels and protocols within PxD staff.

2. Assist in improving staff capabilities in IM by customizing existing IM tools and supporting  training sessions.

3. Monitor data collection platforms to support analysis and decision-making processes by  coordinating and maintaining tools like Power Bi and KoBo Toolbox.

4. Assist in data visualization to communicate insights effectively by analyzing data and creating comprehensive reports.

5. Verify data integrity to maintain the accuracy and reliability of information by regular monitoring and cleaning of data sets.

6. Collaborate on IM issues to align with broader initiatives and standards by liaising and sharing best practices.

7. Analyze and visualize IOM data to identify trends and inform stakeholders by creating visual representations and disseminating findings.

8. Support the creation of operational datasets to meet organizational needs by maintaining them in accordance with set guidelines and standards.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four (4) years of relevant professional experience, or
  • High School diploma with six (6) years of relevant professional experience
Experience
  • Proficiency in Information management tools, with at least four (4) years of experience in information management related position.
Skills
  • In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the Organization, will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of IOM Protection approach and guidelines, will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IOM operational structure, will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of IOM institutional tools for information management, will be an advantage.
Languages
  • Required: English
