Mission and objectives
UNV contributes to peace and development by advocating for recognition of volunteers, working with partners to integrate volunteerism into development programming, and mobilizing an increasing number and diversity of volunteers, including experienced UN Volunteers, throughout the world.
Context
The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the UN organization that contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. This assignment will support with the dissemination of the Review. Note: Online Volunteers share their time and expertise on a voluntary basis and do not receive any financial compensation. Contributing to sustainable human development, developing knowledge and skills, expanding networks and working in a multicultural environment are some of the many benefits of online volunteering. Upon successful completion of the assignment, Online Volunteers will receive an electronic certificate of appreciation.
Task Description
We seek support from 1 online volunteer to support us with an outreach for the State of Volunteering in Central Asia Review (VCARE). An Online Volunteer will be requested to provide support to UNV with the publication of 1 article on VCARE in the local newspaper.
