GIZ International Services (InS) is an integral division of GIZ. We offer the experience, the regional and technical know-how of GIZ in the global market and provide international clients with expertise in terms of economic and result-oriented services.

GIZ International Services is looking for an Expert (m/f/d) in the frame of the preparation for a participation in a tender “Municipal Infrastructure Development Programme (MIDP) – Project Preparation Facility Ukraine (PPF) 2025 – 2029”, funded by SECO.

 

Your tasks

 

This position supports the key expert team and in particular key experts 1 (team leader and urban infrastructure project management expert) and 2 (urban infrastructure project preparation expert) to fulfill their tasks. As such, this position is meant for a polyvalent junior professional.

 

Your profile

 

General Qualifications and skills

  • Master’s degree (for national key expert: minimum bachelor’s degree) in engineering, public procurement, architecture, or similar relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in English language.

General professional experience

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Very good written communication skills in English (C1 preferred).
  • Professional experience in one of the following fields is an advantage: energy-efficiency (e.g. in buildings, district heating), renewable energy, public transport (urban and agglomeration), urban water supply and wastewater management).
  • Experience with communication is an advantage.

 

Location information

 

The project will be implemented mainly in Ukraine. This position is foreseen to be located in Switzerland.
