1. Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the officer position is to provide support for the implementation of procurement functions in Southern Ukraine.
Generic responsibilities:
1. Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines
2. Implement delegated support function portfolio according to the plan of action
3. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
4. Ensure proper filing of documents
5. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function
Specific responsibilities:
Procurement
Ensure procurement activities are carried out in a transparent and accountable manner at the area office that includes procurements requested from other parts of Southern Ukraine and follow all NRC/Donor Regulations.

By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:
-Finance, HR, Admin, and Programme Team.

2. Competencies
Competencies are important in order for the employee and the organization to deliver desired results. They are relevant for all staff and are divided into the following two categories:
Generic professional competencies:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience from working as a Logistician in a humanitarian/recovery context
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Ability to work flexibly including weekends, and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
• Ability to speak the local language (Ukrainian) with a good knowledge of English language
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:
• BA Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent
• More than or equal to 2 years of experience in the humanitarian sector
• Microsoft Word/Excel skills
