Trainee, Lending

NIB is seeking a TRAINEE to join the Lending Department.

The position is optimally held for six months, with the possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting analysts with corporate financial data spreading and forecasting, and production of credit risk ratings.
  • Acquisition and modelling of climate impact data.
  • Providing general support to the Lending department, including administering meeting minutes, preparing presentation material.
  • Performing research and analytical tasks to support activities such as, product development, business intelligence, and digital transformation.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has completed a minimum of 2 years studies in Accounting or Finance.
  • Is good at using Microsoft office tools, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Has competence in data and analytics. Experience in SQL, Python and Power BI development are considered an advantage.
  • Is fluent in English which is a prerequisite. Working knowledge of any Nordic/Baltic language would be an asset.
  • Has personal qualities like open-mindedness, flexibility, good interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine interest in learning.
  • Has aptitude for figures and attention to details.

The work is conducted on hourly basis with flexible time schedules. The workload for the position will be higher in periods yet combinable with studies. The intended start is 17 February 2025.
