Mission and objectives
The City Resilience Global Programme is UN-Habitat’s technical partner for urban resilience—we help cities increase their resilience by diagnosing the state of their urban system, driving actions, sharing and building knowledge for policy making.
Context
We are seeking 3 Online Volunteers to support us by translating a Report on ‘Recommendations of Actions for Resilience and Sustainability in Medellín’ from Spanish to English
Task Description
The Online Volunteers will be asked: – To translate the document, which is 240 pages long, from Spanish into English. – Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteers will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines, as well as other guidance as needed. The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to build connections with the team at UN-Habitat’s City Resilience Programme and learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to building territorial resilience in Medellin, Colombia.
