The Foundation
We are the largest nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple premise: people everywhere, regardless of identity or circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive lives. We believe our employees should reflect the rich diversity of the global populations we aim to serve. We provide an exceptional benefits package to employees and their families which include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with no premiums, generous paid time off, paid family leave, foundation-paid retirement contribution, regional holidays, and opportunities to engage in several employee communities. As a workplace, we’re committed to creating an environment for you to thrive both personally and professionally.
The Team
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Center of Excellence (CoE) is a central functional team made up of advisors, specialists, and enabling partners (i.e., analytics, communications, project managers, and external consultants) to provide foundation-wide direction, governance, tools, and resources to drive the foundation’s DEI commitment and results.
As a Foundation, we are working toward a future that is more diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all because only through greater diversity, equity, and inclusion – of voices, ideas, and approaches – will we be able to help all people improve their lives.
Your Role
The Regional DEI Partner is a DEI Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will be a thought partner by providing guidance, advisory, partnership, and execution support to key stakeholders that includes but not limited to senior leadership, key partners, and functional teams for the purpose of continuous improvement of the foundation’s DEI strategic framework in India and China. This role will require proactive collaboration and vision with senior levels organization-wide to ensure common messaging, sensitivity and accountability.
The postholder will be based at the foundation’s India Country Office (ICO) in New Delhi, and report to the Seattle-based Director, DEI.
