FHI 360 seeks a State Learning Lead for the Region 2 Comprehensive Center (R2CC) in Puerto Rico. The U.S. Department of Education Comprehensive Center Network is
made up of one national center, 14 regional centers, and four content centers. The regional centers provide capacity-building services directly to state education agencies to identify, implement, and sustain effective evidence-based practices that support improved educator and student outcomes. The newly organized R2CC, managed by FHI 360, will serve the territories of Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands. The Learning Lead will play a crucial role in driving the success of R2CC projects aimed to increase the capacity of the Puerto Rico Department of Education (PRDE), specifically building talent, organizational structures and systems, policy leadership and resource capacity. In collaboration with the co-directors and the senior capacity building advisor, this person will also coordinate subject matter experts who are implementing the work on the ground with project stakeholders from educational institutions, government agencies, non-profits, and community groups. This individual will be responsible for leading the planning and delivery of professional learning and technical assistance efforts, facilitating collaborations, and ensuring that partnerships align with our project goals of improving educational practices and student achievements. This person will work closely with the Puerto Rico engagement and partnership lead to strengthen and broaden partnerships and collaborations and make sure projects lead to sustainable outcomes. This will be a part-time position working 24 hours a week.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidate FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 12% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: $115,000 – $135,000
International hiring ranges will differ based on location.
