Global Knowledge Exchange: Creating a platform for interdisciplinary discussion and research on risk and resilience, fostering global collaboration among industry leaders, academics, policymakers, and practitioners 2. Standardization and Metrology: Developing and promoting standards and measurement practices to enhance the reliability and interoperability of risk management strategies. 3. Systems Innovation: Building tools, capacities and communities for the development and application of risk management technologies, standards, and innovation ecosystems. 4. Scholarly and Industry Publications: Publishing standards, reports, and scholarly articles to contribute to academic and practical discourse in risk management. 5. Liaison with Global Entities: Engaging with civil society and maintaining technical interactions with international entities to promote a unified approach to risk management challenges. 6. Context
GRF is a leading international platform dedicated to identifying, analyzing, and mitigating critical global risks that impact societies, economies, and environments worldwide. We are seeking qualified and expertise Online Volunteers to support us in collaborating closely with our content strategists, scriptwriters, videographers, editors, and social media managers to ensure that all media content aligns with GRF’s mission of fostering resilience, promoting proactive risk management, and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As Online Volunteers supporting the Production Management Team for the Global Risks Forum (GRF), you will be instrumental in supporting the comprehensive execution of GRF’s ongoing media series. Your primary contribution will be to manage the entire lifecycle of the media series, ensuring that each video segment—ranging from expert interviews and panel discussions to in-depth analyses and educational explainers—is meticulously planned, produced, and distributed across digital platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. In addition to supporting in managing production schedules and coordinating team activities, you will also support maintaining clear and effective communication channels through Microsoft Teams to facilitate seamless collaboration. You will be responsible for developing and adhering to project timelines to ensure efficient production workflows. Furthermore, you will support the integration of stakeholder feedback and the final review and approval processes before publication. By leveraging your expertise in project management and production support, you will drive the strategic distribution of GRF’s media series, enhancing its visibility and impact. Your role will also include monitoring performance metrics, analyzing audience engagement, and implementing continuous improvements to optimize content reach and effectiveness. Your expertise and contribution will ultimately be vital in building a well-informed, proactive global community through GRF’s compelling and informative media initiatives.
Task Description
1. Video Editing Online Volunteers Needed: 10 Weekly Deliverables: Each volunteer edits 1 video per week. Edit and Produce Videos: Assemble raw footage, and add motion graphics, infographics, and animations to create polished and professional videos that simplify and illustrate complex global risk concepts. Ensure Quality and Consistency: Adhere to GCRI’s branding and visual guidelines, maintaining consistency across all video content. Integrate Audio Elements: Sync audio elements, including voiceovers, sound effects, and background music, to enhance the overall viewing experience. 2. Presenting Online Volunteers Needed: 10 Weekly Deliverables: Each volunteer records and delivers 1 presentation video per week. Host and Present Content: Deliver engaging and informative presentations on various global risk topics, ensuring clarity and accessibility for a broad audience. Script Collaboration: Work closely with GCRI’s scriptwriters and content creators to ensure accurate and compelling delivery of information. Audience Engagement: Utilize effective communication techniques to maintain viewer interest and facilitate understanding of complex concepts. 3. Podcast Production Online Volunteers Needed: 10 Weekly Deliverables: Each volunteer will support in producing and publishing 1 podcast episode per week. Record and Edit Podcasts: Manage the recording, editing, and production of podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio and engaging content. Distribution: Publish podcast episodes on various platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and GCRI’s website, optimizing for reach and engagement.
