Therefore, UN Women is seeking to provide psychosocial support and stress management services for the female and male military officers who are either preparing for deployment to peacekeeping missions, serving in duty stations, or returning from missions.
Objective of the Assignment:
The Psychosocial Services Counsellors (Psychologists) will provide psychosocial support and stress management sessions, the sessions will be structured into three phases: pre-deployment, during deployment, and post-deployment. Coordination will be conducted with the relevant personnel to arrange any necessary medical assessments, referrals, and/or follow-ups with appropriate actors within the local healthcare system or through internal channels The consultant will be reporting to the WPS Programme Specialist, and will be supported by Programme Analyst, who will be the point of contact on the contract and payment issues.
