Context
The UNDP Sustainable Financial Hub (SFH) delivers targeted solutions across four focus areas: aligning public finance, mobilizing private capital, transforming decision-making systems, and delivering risk-informed financing strategies. Since 2024, the Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST) Initiative has been implemented within the SFH, focusing on eradicating forced labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking, contributing to SDG 8.7 and other interrelated goals. FAST’s third phase includes consultations, roundtables, and high-level engagements to scale up public-private partnerships globally. The FAST Initiative has a dedicated webpage as well as a landing page on the SFH website. It also has a Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter account. The initiative is developing a new communications strategy and starting late January 2025 plans to roll out weekly/monthly communication materials and publications. This online volunteering assignment is an opportunity to use your creative thinking combined with digital communication skills to help build a renewed communication plan for a pioneering initiative within UNDP.
