Project Officer – Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA)

Where you come in:

 

As part of Save the Children’s commitment to supporting communities affected by disasters and in the aftermath of the 17 December Earthquake affecting Shefa Province, the Project Officer – Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) will work closely with the Project Coordinator CVA to co-lead and implement cash programming initiatives during the earthquake response and recovery period. This role ensures that CVA activities align with Save the Children’s standards and donor requirements while addressing the needs of affected families and communities.

 

You will make an impact by:

 

· Program Implementation: Facilitate beneficiary registration and verification for cash transfer programs, coordinate with financial service providers for timely disbursements, and support inclusive CVA initiatives for vulnerable groups.

 

· Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting: Develop tools for monitoring CVA activities, analyse data to inform program effectiveness, ensure compliance with MEAL frameworks, and prepare detailed reports while documenting lessons learned.

 

· Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with community leaders, local partners, and the CVA Coordinator to ensure transparent community engagement and alignment with broader recovery strategies.

 

 

Does this sound like you?

 

You have project and operation management and coordination skills, strong understanding of program implementation, excited to learn, adhere to policies & guidelines and able to work in a flexible and high achieving team.

 

This role requires:

 

  • Experience in cash and voucher assistance programs or humanitarian response or the NGO sector generally.
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred in any relevant area.
