About CRS Madagascar
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is a non-governmental organization created in 1943 by the United States Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to assist the world’s poorest people. CRS has been working in Madagascar since 1962 at the invitation of the Episcopal Conference of Madagascar and operates under a bilateral agreement with the Government of Madagascar.
Integrated interventions in food security, environment and landscape restoration, nutrition and health, and access to drinking water are the basis of CRS’s programs in Madagascar. Gender equality, youth participation, good governance, and environmental protection are among its priorities. CRS Madagascar currently supports various projects in 22 regions of the country; approximately more than one million people have currently participated in CRS-supported projects and activities.
Job Summary:
You will partner with the Country Program (CP) Senior Management Team to provide overall strategic Human Resources (HR) direction for the CP in support of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will analyze and anticipate HR programs, services, and operations needs and challenges in the areas of recruitment, staff development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, onboarding/orientation, policies, staff care, and employee administration and introduce improvement solutions.

General Requirements
CRS offers are contingent on the selected candidate’s ability to legally work where the position is to be performed. Every government has a unique set of work permit eligibility requirements. All positions requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country must undergo and clear a pre-employment medical clearance; some work permit processes require clearing a separate government administered medical examination.
