Context
This assignment involves developing digital learning materials and resources to support foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Volunteers will contribute to designing content aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences. We are seeking the support of 2 online volunteers to collaborate closely with the Western and Central Africa Regional Lead in producing course worksheets to guide teachers in effectively utilizing literacy and numeracy content in classrooms, and developing pre- and post-course evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the courses. All courses are in French and focus on foundational literacy and numeracy. Task Description
We are looking for 2 online volunteers to support the Learning Passport initiative under the guidance of the Regional Lead. Volunteers will be asked to: – Design 15 worksheets (1–2 pages each) to provide teachers with practical guidance on effectively using literacy and numeracy content in the classroom. – Develop 15 pre- and post-course evaluations with a few straightforward questions to measure the effectiveness of the courses and track learning outcomes. Volunteers will collaborate closely with the Learning Passport team and gain insights into how UNICEF’s digital learning platform addresses learning poverty by supporting children and youth globally.
