Purpose of Job

The role contributes to support the Associate Director in the deployment of TC assignments and policy work related to cybersecurity and digital risk (50%) and support the Digital Hub in terms of deployment of digital products and with all its communication campaigns (intranet, ebrd.com) and assist with the organisation of events (50%).

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Digital Hub Cybersecurity (50%):

Operational Delivery

  • Screen EBRD pipeline for cybersecurity risks and opportunities.
  • Engage OLs and other stakeholder to promote utilisation of Digital Hub`s cybersecurity policy tools.
  • Support the deployment of TCs and other activities to mitigate risks and promote TI
  • Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity and digital risk policy initiatives
  • Tracking and monitoring cybersecurity initiatives and projects

Impact and Communication

  • Liaise with Donor Partnerships and Procurement in order to ensure a smooth balance between the donor funds allocations and the deployment of the assignments.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to showcase the work of CRP.

Organisational Development

  • Support and advise the Associate Director on future work’s pipeline and actively engage with internal stakeholders to make sure the projects in the pipeline are screened and assessed as needed.

Digital Hub – Digital and Communication (50%):

Support implementation of digital transformation technical cooperation projects.

Operational Delivery

  • Delivery of Digital Knowledge Management and preparation of communication campaigns, including Digital Champions social media items and blogs.
  • Delivery of Podcast, trainings and event organization including working with HR Talent and Development on preparation of Masterclasses and trainings on digital for senior leadership of the Bank
  • Liaison with the Communication Team for the Digital Hub in order to ensure a continuous visibility of the Digital Hub work.

Impact and Communication

  • Play an important role in communicating the impact of digital investments, policy engagement and advisory work led by the Bank, including drafting press releases, social media posts and quotes; supporting the organisation of internal events; and preparing briefing notes for senior management participation in external events and meetings.

Organisational Development

  • Support Hub on its organisational aspects and assist – when necessary – with the Hub’s management, speaking engagements at conferences and internal events, and participation in key meetings.
  • Keep abreast of digital developments and industry trends, and advise on new possible products and services the Digital Hub can offer where appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to the Digital Hub key activities or completed relevant training.
  • Fluent English, with excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Knowledge of another language (e.g. Russian, German, French or Arabic) both written and spoken would be desirable.

Experience/Knowledge

  • Great understanding of digital world and processes, with strong innovative mind-set.
  • Experience working in cybersecurity policy field in the development context.
  • Proactive team player, innovator, champion of digital and digitalisation.
  • Good understanding and interest in the issues of economics and banking, and familiarity with the EBRD region.
  • Excellent organisational and effective planning skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and independently co-ordinate workload to comply with deadlines.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and be flexible; also be able to anticipate needs/issues, drawing on a high degree of initiative and judgement in reliably executing or coordinating a range of tasks independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; including tact and diplomacy.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude, approach and team ethic.
  • Good level of numeracy and ability to work with numbers.
  • Internal candidates to have a thorough knowledge of the Bank’s procedures, policies and of institutional working practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good material presentation skills with attention to detail and the ability to judge required accuracy.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Excellent time keeper
  • EBRD experience and/or knowledge of the Bank’s policies and systems desirable (e.g. SAP, Project Link, Live-link, Pegasus, DTM; and BPN Reports etc).

Technical Skills

  • Advanced level of numeracy skills, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts
  • Computer literate with excellent Excel, PowerPoint and SAP skills.
  • Ability to work across organisational boundaries.
  • Must be able to articulate observations and arguments in a convincing and concise manner, both orally and in writing to both internal and external counterparts.
  • Organisational skills. Must be able to lead multiple and wide raging tasks concurrently. Ability to deliver quality outputs within often tight deadlines.
