In this project, GIZ is acting on behalf of the Federal Chancellery (BKAmt) and the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration (IntB), also the Federal Government Commissioner for Anti-Racism. The responsibilities of the BKAmt and IntB include promoting measures in the areas of migration and integration. GIZ supports the BKAmt and IntB in administering funding programs, including by reviewing project applications and submitting reports on the use of funds and interim reports for project and institutional funding.

During your legal traineeship you will have the following tasks:

• Living cooperation: Advising managers and teams on specific legal issues in grant law, administrative law and related areas
• Implement reliably: Preparation of decision templates and position papers as well as evaluation of current case law
• Taking responsibility: Handling funding, contractual and administrative law tasks in the project context

• Experience and know-how: good MS Office skills
• Enthusiasm: Enjoyment of cross-team collaboration, legal creativity, innovative topics and international cooperation
• Languages: good written and spoken German and English skills
• Education: Studied law, specializing in administrative law and above-average performance in the first state law examination
• In addition, you are confident and able to work in the advisory environment of federal ministries and are characterized by a high level of commitment and service.
