JOB DESCRIPTION

Your position and responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Foundations Department Manager, your missions will be to: 

  • Ensure the development of partnership activities with Foundations on a national and international scale
    • Contribute to the reflection and development of the center’s collection strategy by developing and monitoring relationships with French and international foundations
    • Implement and monitor the Foundations target development/prospecting action plans ensuring that collection objectives are achieved: identification, qualification and prioritization of targets, making contact, preparing and conducting meetings, building the pitch, summarizing meetings, proposing the appropriate offer, preparing response files to Foundations’ calls for projects
    • Negotiate and frame contractual elements for new partners
    • Ensure monitoring, particularly internationally, identify development opportunities in line with market challenges, the strategy of the division and the Delegated Management (to be proposed to the Division Manager) and ensure the supply and updating of prospecting files and pipeline management tools
  • Manage a portfolio of existing partners
    • Implement the loyalty and recognition policy
    • Monitor and implement contractual commitments made to partners
    • Identify new actions and projects with a view to retaining and developing resources
    • Ensure the administrative follow-up of the partnerships in its portfolio: drafting and monitoring of agreements in conjunction with the legal department, proper maintenance of files/archiving, monitoring of reporting and expectations of partners, thanks, recording of donations, updating of information of its partners in the database, etc.
  • Monitor your activity
    • Analyze and monitor indicators within its scope, alert when necessary
    • Contribute to updating all of the hub’s management and monitoring tools
    • Participate under the responsibility of the Pole Manager in the coordination of activities and exchanges with the international Action Against Hunger network
  • Manage and supervise the activities of the intern and/or work-study student
    • Recruit the employee in conjunction with the recruitment department
    • Train the employee by providing their initial training and providing them with the information necessary for the smooth running of their mission
    • Manage the planning, organization and distribution of the employee’s working time
    • Organize and manage individual points regularly and exceptionally
    • Ensure compliance with current procedures (HR, accounting, logistics)
    • Ensure the employee’s annual assessment and progress interview

 

Your profile

With a Bac+4/5 higher education in commerce, ESS, CSR or Philanthropy, you have 4 to 5 years of experience in a sponsorship development position, and you have already managed the financing and monitoring of partnership projects, on an international scale.

You are able to demonstrate tenacity in prospecting and you are capable of establishing high-level contacts and generating interest among your contacts in the projects presented.

Your commercial mindset and your legal and tax knowledge governing all activities related to patronage, as well as your sense of initiative, will be assets for creating and maintaining a network of partners.

You have a sense of priorities and are recognized for your writing and interpersonal skills (synthesis and formalization of impactful messages).

You are proficient in the Office suite and English, both spoken and written.
