About the job:

Based in Oeiras, Portugal, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NCI Academy that offers best in class vocational training on NATO systems and services with the team Academy delivering high quality, certified and up-to-date training in C4ISR, Cyber, Command and Control and Enterprise field across the NATO community.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Learning Opportunities Catalyst who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

•    Identify and assess NATO enterprise needs for complementary learning opportunities in the cyberspace domain;
•    Develop and coordinate the NCI Academy approach to complementary learning opportunities;
•    Develop a curriculum of complementary learning opportunities that address the needs of the Alliance;
•  Initiate and execute NCI Academy complementary learning opportunities that are aligned with the implementation of the NCI Academy Strategy and the strategic needs of the NATO Enterprise;
•  Identify and plan stakeholder engagement opportunities to offer and promote complementary learning opportunities as an NCI Academy product;
•   Foster close working relationships with key stakeholders, including NCIA Functional and Business Area, other NATO Bodies and the NATO Command Structure to advance the complementary learning opportunities curriculum;
•  Prepare, execute and report on complementary learning opportunities engagements, including with the development of key messages, speaking points, briefings, background material, engagement reports and other products;

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

•    A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience.
•    At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring policy and enterprise wide developments and recommending possible opportunities for own organization’s strategy;
•   Experience in initiating and executing strategic opportunities and events, in close coordination with stakeholders and partnering organizations/organizational elements;
•    Experience in assessing and transforming requirements in captivating learning opportunities relevant for the target audience;
•  Experience in coordinating learning opportunities, including developing relevant programs for live, on-line or hybrid symposia, workshops, conferences, lectures, podcasts and mini-courses;
•   Experience in preparing, executing and reporting on strategic engagements, including key messages, speaking points, briefings, background material, engagement reports and other products;
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken
